Four articles in one issue :)

I've been pretty busy lately, so here are some articles that have been published over the past few weeks.

The next fours articles were published in the Weekend Edition of The Wetumpka Herald on 09/25/10.

1.) IvyCreek Home Medical - I really enjoyed covering this article. The ladies at IvyCreek were extremely welcoming and helpful. I was happy to promote their new CHAP certification.

2.)  Curves - This is just a cutline and photo. This was a fun piece as well. The ladies were sweet and even tried to get me to attend the gym. I didn't have the heart to tell them that I already attend a gym...well...when I can :)

3.) Bowen gives schools money - If you know me, you know that I love children. I've even thought about getting my teaching degree...even though my mother assures me that I won't like it because of all the rules teachers have to abide by. But nevertheless, I love being at school, especially elementary schools. When I went to cover this article, I was really excited because I got to take the picture at Wetumpka Elementary School. When I arrived I was overjoyed to find hallways filled with children's arts and drawings. I LOVE SCHOOL! All in all, this was an easy one. It's just a cutline and photo, but it still makes me smile.

4.) Thatcher Pinkston goes on his mission - So out of all the articles that were published in this paper...this one was the most difficult for me to write, not just because it is much more in depth, but because of the subject. Those who know me will know why, I hope. And if you don't, please feel free to ask me. I'd rather relay how I feel in person than on the Internet. All in all. This article was fun to write. I enjoyed interviewing Thatcher and wish him the best on his journey. I will be praying for him while he is away.
